A great foundation for a project. Some time and money and this could be on the road this summer. Originally silver with white and burgundy interior. 40K miles on the odometer but my guess it that it's rolled over once.
Engine is a 1973 360cid painted and dressed as the original Commando option. Fresh valve job on the heads with the big 340 style valves. Gasket matched porting. Professionally done. $1k in heads alone. Cometic head gaskets. Brand new Hughes Whiplash cam and lifters. Vintage Edelbrock LD340 intake. Factory Chrysler HEI. New engine wiring harness by Year One. Fresh re-cored radiator detailed and painted. New water pump, alternator (for HEI ignition), double roller timing chain, oil pump, gaskets, hoses, battery tray, throttle cable, and all new tune up parts, brand new correct A body 340 engine mounts by Mancini. Stainless Transmission cooling lines by Inline Tube. Rebuilt Carter AFB 4bbl carb. Engine has not been fired since top end rebuild. Nice and clean under the hood. Used TTI H pipe exhaust system for Barracuda with turndown tips(A25 MWM6769-CUE) included. Comes with original 10.5:1 273cid Commando engine as well. Complete but disassembled and hot tanked, ready for rebuild.
Car was originally equipped with a Suregrip but someone pulled it at some point and put in a 7.25”. Comes with complete 8.75” A-Body rear end with 3:73 Suregrip out of a 68 Barracuda. Spins fine.
PST Super Front End Rebuild Kit installed. Sheet metal is 80% done and coated in white epoxy. Floors are decent with only some surface rust. Spare tire well in trunk will need a small patch. There is a hole near the rear window on the passenger side that needs to be welded up. Rear window needs to come out to do so. Some surfaced rust on the under carriage but otherwise good. Seat covers and dash pad are junk but hardware is good. Original AC car. All glass is good.
Sold on Bill of Sale only. Comes with Original Broadcast sheet, and fender tag. Asking $7500. I have over $10k invested in parts alone and hundreds of hours of work. I’m out of time and $ to invest in this project. Time to move on. lots more photos available.
