1967 Dart 2dr Sedan

I was given this car in 2000 by the previous owner that noticed my '71 Dart at a function and asked me if I would be interested in another one. What Dart owner could resist having another one?

It had been sitting in her garage since '88 under cardboard boxes with all 4 tires flat next to the IROC Z28 Camaro she had bought that year. She couldn't send it to the junkyard despite her family's repeated pleas to get rid of it...

Sold new in So. San Francisco, I'm the third owner of this "Gently Used Classic"

I put in a new battery, some fresh gas and it fired right up.
After refilling the bias recap tires, off I went in my new toy!

Daily driver until 2003, it has been garaged and taken out for shows occasionally since then....

The first owner was a horrible driver and smashed the car up sometime in the late '60s or early '70s had it repaired and repainted, then wrecked a few more times (sometimes in the same area) but never repaired again.

This was told to me by the second owner and confirmed by her son that it was in this condition when she bought it in 1975...

No pictures from today, but still blocking out the door & quarter and applied some filler in a few spots that were a little off...

The short term goal is to finish the door & quarter through guide coat, move over to the Left Quarter damage (.8 hrs +paint maybe), L Fender & Hood, prime the car, and then jump on getting the motor swapped in time for the 25th annual RT66 Fun Run next May in AZ

Back on the Dart after a few months away...

Engine finally had to come out early due to coolant leak between the engine & transmission and HUGE oil consumption issues (about gal/100miles)
