[SOLD] 1968 Formula S Barracuda Coupe

Hi all! This was my husband's baby. He passed away a few years ago and I'm finally ready to let it go for someone else to enjoy.

This is a 383 Super Commando, Automatic, Notchback.
Numbers Matching Vin: BH23H8Bxxxxxx. Only 99 of these coupes produced in 1968.
This is possibly 1 of 2 known remaining numbers matching cars.

Unmolested. Original paint. Has almost all original parts (less air cleaner). Have original carb, rear hoghead, wheels, wire hubcaps, shop manual, original broadcast sheet, certicard, and some new additional parts.

Present actual miles: 67,961. Engine rebuilt less then 4000 miles ago using best parts available. Machine work was done by Indy Cylinder Head and have all receipts.

Needs body work but has solid floorboards and stainless exhaust. Car has not been driven for several years but does run (sounds good). Brakes untested. Would need new tires.

Thank you. It is original paint. Forrest Green Metallic. Interior is also Forrest Green

As this was only my 2nd attempt at placing a car ad, needed to clarify some things. Learning all the time!!
Also want to thank some of the members here for trying to help me by sharing their knowledge and opinions. It was much appreciated !!

Original owner bought car on 12-12-67.
Second owner, my husband, bought on 1-4-89 with 64,000 miles on odometer.
Engine work was done spring of 1991.
Have receipts for all work done and 99% of the parts.
(includes 18 P-numbered parts from Direct Connection)

My husband developed ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) and the project stalled. He passed away on 7-12-08 and the car has sat since then.

"unmolested" (meant no hidden body filler, fiber glass mesh, etc.) What you see is what you get!!

"Original paint" but does have rust issues. Needs body work (quarter panels repaired or replaced)
Good shape for 46 year old car.

Have all original parts. Hubcaps,rear gear carrier (3.23 Posi),starter,alternator,distributor (numbers to a 383 2 barrel ?). Hard to find trim and parts are there.

Engine with correct air cleaner housing.(rattle can painted, needs correct wrinkle paint).
