1969 Race Dart w/ 426 Hemi- garaged for 45+ years

Took my wife for a quick ride....................It is so awesome to be able to drive the car together after 50+ years!! I know my FIL was riding along.....................

you might want to put a drain hose on the radiator overflow fitting and route it pointing to the the ground. If it happens to build pressure and releases, it will be spraying all over your pretty Hemi.

I have the overflow bottle mounted, I need to get the correct size hose. Would you happen to know the correct size?

Dart looks great. Been a fan of the 4-speeds for over 5 decades. Having an automatic in a hot rod like the Dart is like sex with a condom. You get there....just not as much fun.

Well after a whole year of updates and a great build now that the Dart is home not much to report. Just cleaninig it up after sitting for months. I still have to install the carpet and put the tires and slots back on for its first show at Mopars in the Park in Minnesota the end of May. We did get the trailer painted and it looks 100% better.................

If head light wiring old worn out Year One sells new M&H wire harnesses which are identical to the originals. Just unplug old harness at firewall and plug new harness in.

I put the plug / play LED headlights and reverse light bulbs in my Duster and HemiMarks Demon. Easy / peasy....and WOW! are they bright. They plug right in to your OEM harness with zero effect on charging system. They have a relay built into the new harness that tucks easily behind the headlight bucket.

Put 60 miles (one way) on the Duster last Friday driving to Norwalk / Summit Raceway for a free day (9am-3pm) of fun drags courtesy of Summit / Atech.....no discharge effect what so ever.

Demon has the new LEDs and they look almost OEM.
