1970 Superbird 440 raffle

-
I would have loved last years !!!Gorgeous B3 Blue !!!You right there in Cocao,we need to hook up some day,I'm down here off 192 by the Olive Garden !!

Yep, we're going into the car show season. We'll have to get together soon.

actually thought about buying a raffle ticket
until I realized I could never afford the tax on it if I won

and once you won it you would hate to have to sell it
but 8% sales tax on $100,000 is how much?!?!?!

The nice thing about WV is that they can only make you pay 5% on the nada book value or $200.00 dolars . I think the bird is off the books by now! The Capital Gains Tax from the IRS would really suck though!

here you would have to pay the full 8% sales tax on the value of the prize
so if the car was valued at $100,000 dollars I would have to come up with $8000 just to transfer the title if I planed to register it,

on the other hand, if someone offered to sell me that car for $8000 I would beg borrow and steal to get the money, so perhaps I will buy a raffle ticket after all! plus it is a good cause

I wouldn't want it in my drieway but I would love to donate it to some other foundation to be raffled off again. To keep paying it forward could make it the most raffled car of any kind ever.
