1984 Dodge Rampage

Plan of attack, 88 TI, rebuilt 5spd, "pizza" wheels, bodywork, paint and interior.

Cool build! If you have any questions just ask me on doing the turbo swap. I started this build when I was 16 and had it done when I was 18. (Yeah I might have went a little overkill with the red theme under the hood, haha) I regretfully sold this car a few years back but I still see it around. I was running 18lbs boost and it was insanely fast!

I had a set of crab wheels on my rampage at first... I polished them and it took weeks and killed my hands! It looked pretty cool with them on the car.

Cool Rampage Randy!! Are those 15's or 16's? I know I will probably need help if I do the SMEC conversion.

Thanks! The crabs are 15's. they're the widest of the turbo dodge wheels (6.5" I believe?) the other set of rims are 17's. I used an 86 glh charger for the swap (turbo 1) and drove it like that for a year until I could save up for all the parts to do the glhs turbo 2 conversion. The rad/intercooler setup was the most expensive part and hardest to find.

K cars swap just like A bodies, really cool stuff if done right.Exceptionally tasty one above.

Cool car! I've always wanted an 89 CSX but they were never available in Canada and i never did look into importing one..

Those wheels are extremely rare on the CSX's! You night be thinking of the gold ones that were available on the Acclaims and other FWD Mopars of those years. The CSX Rims were made from composite material (like fibreglass/carbon fibre) and most of them cracked or busted over the years. I believe they were called fiberrides.

Correct don't have one just yet. You can't scrap those wheels trash them yes. They were Fiberides made from Plastic reinforced by fiberglass.
