Is the center link on the V8 cars different from a slant 6 car? I was cleaning out the trunk of Barracuda (lots of spare parts) and found 2 center links with tags that ID them as V8 center links. My car was a factory V8 car so it doesn't need them.

Early A's (1966 back) use a different center link between a /6 and a V8. 67 to 72 uses the same link on both and 73 to 76 use the same link on both. The split is between 72 and 73.

Never hurts to have spare parts laying around if you have space. I have 6 of them still attached to parts cars.
