i have done it both ways. my last 360 i used the cork and the 318 before that i just used sealer. i think its really a matter of preference Steve, i have no leaks with either one of them....

you are supposed to use a .60 intake gasket ends with aftermarket aluminum intakes, of which i have on both the 318 and 360 , but i only used them on one.... Bruce would probably give you a better answer. are you using a cast iron intake?

i would go with the gasket ends , but thats just me. i have always used them with factory cast intakes..
