ok 73 scamp 318 had the dreaded empty bowl after setting overnight, got an orielys rebuilt looks almost identical, mounted runs better seems a little rich to me, but the idle screw has to be turned in all the way to get it to idle and still seems a little low, any ideas?

Is this the curb idle (speed) screw that has to be adjusted all the way in? And why do you say it is rich?

yes curb idle screw and exhaust just smells really rich.
