318 Spark Plug Gap?

-
The best thing I have seen to do with a Mopar points ignition on an actual driver is replace it with a trailbeast ignition or similar. Champions work good as long as the a/f mixture is right and you don’t have any excess oil burning. I have used champion copper plus truck specific plugs (don’t remember the number, \6 with crack in bottom of intake, constant egr system) to get by until I could fix i. It would foul out a regular set in a week, truck plugs never showed a problem but went up two heat ranges to compensate. Didn’t run too good but got me where I was going.

Looked at my friends '93 ram 250 forestry service truck today. Has all the underhood stickers still, NV4500, 241 T-Case, 4.10 gears and front and rear limited slip differentials, magnum 360, all wrapped up in beautiful fluorescent snot green. Tune up spec label said Champion RN12YC's, .032 plug gap. Same thing my tune up label says... Why mess with perfection?

So, .032 or .040-.045?
