ohhh! OG timing cover and a 90* filter a-dapt-or so there's roughly 200 bones right there. that means about tree-fiddy for a 340 block that's got head studs and hopefully main caps!
 
Wasn't someone on here just the other day complaining that 340 blocks had gotten too expensive.
 
Seen a lot of complete 360's for about half that. Not saying they are better or worse, but for the money, its hard to beat.

I personally would rather have a 360 doing what I do but that a heck of a good price for a guy with a nice car looking for a 340. 340 guys are like Gen II Hemi guys. You are never going to change their mind.
 
Looks like a possible crack between freeze plugs
