Hi gang..

I am tearing down my '70 340 and come to a point where I must ask you folks, the experts, a question. It seems the cam sprocket its not coming off the shaft as easy as i think it should. The motor is original and has 126000 miles on it.
Is there a trick to removing the stubborn sprocket? The bolt is removed and I have saturated the shaft with WD-40. What do you think?

Two long flat blade screwdrivers, one on each side. Work the crank sprocket out at the same time.

ah...the old Two long flat blade screwdrivers, one on each side trick.

Well it worked. Thank you.
