What engine? Stall speed is dependent on engine size/torque. The same converter will stall a lot different between a slant six, 318 or 402.
Also the year of the engine/trans makes a difference. 1967 or older/ 1968 or newer?
EDIT: also, lockup or non lockup?

Hey Charlie I should of put more info 1968 A904 non lock up and up for my 318

I have a "new" never installed FTI 9 1/2 inch That I will Probably never use. I ordered it for my 225 slant six with nitrous. It should stall around 3500 on a 318. It is for the 68 up engine and 68 up non lockup 904. It is not cheap, however. If you might be interested, send me a private message.
