4 Speed console

I have been wanting to put a console in my 4 speed Duster for a while now but finding a 4 speed console for an A body is like looking for a hen's tooth, so I thought I would ask if anyone has converted an auto console to a 4 speed. I have had some guys tell me yes it can be done and others tell me no. Does anyone know if it can be done and still make it look factory?

BE&A repos the top plate and door. not cheap and not terrible either. But then again neither is a factory one.
