a long time ago probably 2009, Chris told me they stop grinding for Hughes. They wanted the ramps "too fast", as he put it and lobes were going away on them more frequently. Dave Hughes rub's people the wrong way..to say the least. Maybe D.H listened and they're back at it.
 
Howards grinds hughes cams,I called howards with a hughes part number and they gave me all the specs that hughes didn't seem to want to.The tech at howards straight up said they grind these to hughes specs and have zero responsibility for anything other than that.
 
I do not deal with "all the specs" " hughes didn't seem to want to"...
how can they spec cams without dealing with when they open and when they close

frequent problem with cam pickers trying to get "more"
problem especially with heavy stock valves
and then specking too strong springs to control them
Whiplash give me a break
