To those of you that have experience building up the 42RH/A500 trans, what upgrades would need to be done for it to survive behind a 5.7 Hemi? The car would rarely see a drag strip and would be a daily driver.
I know a lot of people don't like the 42RH/A500 transmissions. However, I figure it is based on the 904, and they can be made to handle some serious HP/TQ, so it should be able to live behind a bone stock 5.7 Hemi if built right.
