5.2 Magnum and kickdown linkage

I just dropped in a 5.2 Magnum in my 68 with the fuel injection. I've been wondering how I'm going to setup my kickdown linkage. I've also been reading the posts on Lokar cables. Has anyone installed the fuel injected Magnum and done the cable, or linkage or combination of cable and linkage? I have to go around the front and back to the throttle body. Thanks

I have only worked on the newer 46RH transmissions used behind the 5.2 mag so I'm not positive about the later ones but the newer ones used throttle pressure linkage that worked just like all other torqueflite's. Only difference was the lever on the trans used a ball/stud for hookup. You can buy ball/studs at most good auto supply stores. Did you get the throttle pressure cable with the engine? If not you should be able to buy one for a truck with the 46RH trans. at the local Dodge dealer and be good to go
