Hey folks,
I'm planning on running a hydroboost on my 5.7 hemi 66 Dart. So far I've learned that I will have to swap to a GM type II pump as the stock hemi pump puts out too much pressure for my Alterktion's power rack. I was also advised to use the low flow version of the pump as it is designed for ford power racks. Currently I'm planning on using a hydroboost from an early 2000's mustang or something similar. I have 12.19" 4 piston dynalite wilwood brakes all around. Is there any specific takeout system I should (or could) be looking for besides a mustang? I assumed the mustang one would work best as I'm basically using a mustang power rack and the associated low flow ford pump. Is the low flow pump acceptable when also using a hydroboost system?
Thanks,
Ryan
