'60-'62 Hood To Cowl Seal?

Did the original cars come with a factory hood to cowl seal?

My '61 Lancer is metal-to-metal, and I don't see any attachements or clips for a hood to cowl seal.

What says the Forum?

Hood-to-cowl seal is YES. It doesn't attach by clips, it wedges into a channel at the trailing edge of the hood. I worked with Gary Goers to get this seal reproduced some years back (same seal for all '60-'62 Valiant/Lancer) and you can order it from him; see here for his info.

Good idea...don't know if that item is in the cattledog, though, and I don't recall its part number. You may have to contact Gary and ask. That takes patience, but it's worth it.
