Does this nasty little beast belong to a member here? Sounds like a well put together combination. Didn’t mention what stroke however.

.090 over 318 with a 4" throw? Just to say he did? Or could. No advantage over a 408+ made out of a 360.
Yep. That's what it's all about. So he can still call it a 318?
Stock stroke 318 would be more impressive.
340 blocks are getting hard and expensive to find. The 360 blocks aren't there yet. And talk about hard to find, a early 318 block thick enough to bore .090 is almost unobtainable.I think it proves you don't need to find 340/360 blocks that can be costly, or do a B/RB/Hemi/LS swap to have a 10 second car.
.I have a buddy with a 65 318 bored .90 over and the cc works out to 332-333. 360 pistons and a turned down 360 crank. It is a nasty motor in a 69 Dart.
If you add up the parts in his engine, its definitely NOT a inexpensive comboI think it proves you don't need to find 340/360 blocks that can be costly, or do a B/RB/Hemi/LS swap to have a 10 second car.
Its a 318 converted to a 360 through machine work and a stroker crank then?

That's the thing with people like the guy with the car in question. By saying its "just a 318" he gives the illusion it's a simple, maybe even economical build that somehow showcases a "special" combination and gets everyone clicking his video. If he said it was a "full race CNC ported stroker race engine " nobody would even look twiceNone of it is inexpensive anymore. Parts, Labor, etc.
Reminds me of building a computer, 20 years ago I could and save a ton, now, no way.
