64 Barracuda Emblem Repair?

I was wondering if I could repair this emblem or if I should just get a another one. It was already damaged where the nipple on the back was broken and it was glued down by the previous owner, but when I was walking past the car, my shirt snagged the edge of the emblem and snapped it in half. It looks cast, so I'm expecting it would not be an easy repair.

I've never seen a successful repair of pot metal, it's just not that strong to begin with and any application of heat melts it. I bet a want ad here would find you a nice one

if you figure out a way to fix pot metal please post it here. it will get 4 million likes. I tried to repair one and everything I tried failed. you think you have it fixed and then you touch it and it falls apart again. The emblems are out there reasonably priced, save yourself a bunch of trouble and use the broke one for wall art and buy a good used one. My 2 cents.
