I appreciate it. It was a junk yard salvage. I actually saved it while it was the fork lift fixing to be put in a crusher. I've been tinkering with it for many years.

Stating the process of modifying the truck, trying to clean it up some. Next is fiber glass in the trunk and interior panels.

The 361 is .030, 292/.509 purple cam. Pistons are flat tops, and the heads have been decked. Compression is roughly 13.5:1. Crank is a 383 forged crank. Swap was to allow the use of the modern 727. Heads have been ported, polished, harden seats, 3angle valve job, and gasket matched ported. Block has been side drilled, 4 bolt main. Rods are 383 six pack rods, shock pined and balanced. Other than the boring, I performed all the work to the motor.

Hate that I have to loose the Keystone rims due to the RMS k-frame, but the Chrysler 300 wheels will work great

Nice....like the trunk. 300 rims huh?

Yeah, the 14" Keystones won't fit the 12.5 wilwood rotors. The Chrysler 300 wheels started to grow on me. I like the larger torque thrust rims, but not to fond of the price. I have the interior to button up and paint, so once that's finished, I may look into a different style rim.

Well don't feel bad, the offset on the 15 x 7 po-po rims won't work on my 72. Having to get some measurements to get a good tire and rim on the car.

Yeah, I have a few thousand dollars left to put into the car before she's ready for the road, so I'll battle the wheels once I'm able to puts some miles on the motor. The motor has less than 5hrs and was finished almost 20yrs ago. My wonderful wife has made it clear that it will be on the road before this time next year. Super excited that I now have a wife that's all for me finishing it. lol. She's even helped with the build.

There is nothing better than having a spouse that is very supportive and will help in any way for you to reach your goal. Way to go girl !!

I couldn't agree any more. And its a two way street. I'll stand patiently when she wants to go shopping and have mani/pedis done. lol. When she's happy the world is happy. lol. :burnout:

Been at it again, finally got the AC finished up, 90% of the interior is done, and got some glass back in her. Seat upholstery, exhaust, and paint, she'll be back on the road.
