The switch in my 67 Dart has a bad reostat for the inside lights and they didn't want to work tonight. After driving for a while they came on.

So over the winter I would like to change it. I should have check this when I was building the car and had a 68 parts car, but didn't.

I would like to put a 68 switch in so the parking lights will stay on when the headlights are one.

Can a 68 headlight switch be used with the wiring harness of a 67 Dart?

My 68 has a new switch in it, and I still have no park lights with headlights on. I took the switch out of my 79 volare duster, and the same results. Hope this helps. BTW, the switchs are cheap.

yea even a 66 belvedere has the same switch! there only 14 bucks from the parts store and some times they have them on the shelf!

Front park lamps off when headlights on is in the harness wiring and not the switch. There is a way to alter the wiring so front park lamps remain on. Some have done this and the details are here somewhere.
Try search and good luck.

simply add a jumper wire to the tail light circuit at the switch. this will work w/no problem
