This page will chronicle Chris Snyder's insane idea to turn a 45 year old, 2800 lb 1967 Plymouth Valiant into a twin turbo, 470 CID 800 hp street car. I originally thought this was one of Chris' hundreds of pipe dreams, but since it has taken up most of his time, and most of the back garage, I'm seeing he's serious. I hope to chronicle our Valiant journey here, from start to finish. I when I say "our" journey, I mean Chris doing all the wrenching and fabricating, while I take pictures and post them and spend the next few months in a single parent-type existence while all his blood, sweat and tears (along with his entire savings) are poured into this piece of Detroit Mopar steel.

The final result today: 955 hp The guy running the computer didn't turn the graph on until 4500 rpm, but at 4500 it was 795 ft lb of torque. There's an exhaust leak on each side hurting it a little, the timing wasn't advanced to where it could be and Chris didn't want to put race fuel in it or push the rpm's past 7k. But even with all that, it still has 955 hp!! Holy $&@$!!!
