68 340 engine mount ?

when looking at the driver side of the block, and the motor mount tabs, witch side of the tabs does the metal engine mount go on, i think they fit best on the inside of the tab.... also the mount bolts only have one washer, for each of the three bolts, does the washer go on the nut side...

The metal bracket goes on the rear side of the block ears. I run a flat washer on the bolt side and a lock washer on the nuts side. I also run lock nuts.
