68 baracuda 8.75 upgrade

I would appreciate any information you can give as I want to upgrade to a 8.75 rear end in my notchback. can you tell me what other models would be a bolt in swap for the little rear end in the notch now. any info would be appreciated. thank you.

Any 67' to 72' A body rear will bolt right in with the same wheel bolt pattern. 73' up will bolt right in but has the 4.5" bolt pattern

73 and up (from the factory) are only going to be 7.25 and 8.25

You will need a different set of shock mounts and your drives haft will need to be cut down
depending on what the rear came from you might need a conversion joint as well

thank you for the information. I was planning on getting a new driveshaft made once the entire new drivetrain is in. I will keep an eye out for the upgrade if I can find one that is affordable.
