68 Dart Glove box latch

Looking for the latch that goes on the door. Not sure if its a button, knob or lock. Nothing is in the door that I have. Thanks.

That push button latch is the same as the one in console doors, only difference being a removable finish bezel. Its a poor design too. The thing is pot metal. The spring is so strong it would eventually blow the 2 little screws out that hold the back on.
I've seen new reproductions on ebay before. Might have been listed for consoles making it harder to find for the glove box. Hope this helps

not sure what I need. Mine came with a knob but I'm not sure how it should latch. Don't think a push button type will work with this bezel?

That's a 67 door and will not mount in a 68-up dash...

The door is the correct but the bezel is not. Guess I'm looking for a 68 door bezel and latch now...

A 67 door is spring loaded and doesn't have a latch. It can have a key lock if convertible.
68 door doesn't have a bezel. It has only a round push button latch and catch cord.
