will the stock 14 inch steel wheels on a 66 coronet work on a 69 dart

Only if the Dart is large bolt pattern.
66 coronet = 4.5 inch bolt pattern
69 dart = 4 inch bolt pattern ( unless its been changed )

73 and up with a /6 and drum brakes = small bolt (4 inch )
73 and up with V8 and disc brakes = big bolt ( 4.5 inch )
Before 73 , A bodies were small bolt , and had either 14 x 4.5
or 14 x 5.5 steel wheels also 14 x 5.5 Ralley wheels....
