So, I bought 7" x 15" Cragar's with 5/4 bolt circle and 245/15 BF Goodrich tires for the rear. I had to back-order 6" x 15" Cragar's 5/4 bolt circle and 205/15 tires for the front. Just received an email saying Cragar is no longer making the 6" x 15" in a 5/4 bolt circle yet it appears they still make a 6" x 14" in that bolt circle. Would it be ok to run 14" on front and 15" on rear or would it look wierd. Also does anyone see a problem with the 245/15 tires on the rear rubbing. All suspension is stock.

I used to run 14x5.5 steel wheels on the front of my 69 Swinger, 15x8 on rear. In this photo the tires are 245 60r15. You MUST have correct backspacing of 4.5" with an 8" wheel. Tires were very close to wheel lip and occasionally rubbed.

Im sorry, I re-read and see you bought 7" wheels for rear, this will give a lot more room than same tire on 8" as long as you use correct backspacing. Did you get 4.25" backspacing?

The back spacing is 4.125", thinking the 1/8" difference is not a biggie. Thanks for your help.

Don't worry about the 14's on front, nobody ever noticed on mine for the 5 years I ran it that way. I've now gone to 15's on front to clear aftermarket disc brakes.

I have a 68 Dart GTS and does anyone know if a 255/70/15 using a 15 X 7 rim with a 4.25 backspacing with stock suspension work or will it be to close for comfort

It will be too tall, unless you put a spacer between front spring hanger and frame. That tire is 29" tall and will hit front of wheel opening. Im currently running 235 70r15 and have about 1/2" of space using an 1/8" shim.

72 Swinger here with 245/60x15s on 15x8s with 4 1/2" backspace, left about 3/4" to the springs. For peace of mind I modified the fender lip for more clearance, 1/2 - 3/4" worth. 195/70x14s on the front if I remember right on 6" rallys. A 255 might fit in the back, sure would be close on the fender side though.
