Hi,
I am new to the site, I joined hoping that someone could help me decode my build sheet. I am particularly interested in what transmission my car came with. The trans code on the build sheet is 779. I will attach a copy of the sheet. I just started restoring the car I drove in highschool, and found out that someone "misplaced" the transmission for me at some point in the last few years. I have a 318 from a 67 dodge van in it with a better cam shaft, a high rise intake, and a 4-barrel carb on the top. Otherwise, nothing should be different from the factory setup. I am trying to figure out exactly what transmission I need to put back onto the car. I dont know if it should be a 727 torqueflight or a 904. I am also not sure what length trans I should be looking for. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
