I've been lurking around this site for quite a while, I've had my 70 Duster since 1998. I bought it from the original owners family. I have all the paper work from the dealer and all the registrations since 1970 when they first got it. It has been off the road since 2006 and I am finally in a situation were I can start a restoration on it. I pulled it into the garage a couple of weeks ago, and started the tear down. Here are a few pics to get this thread started.

Just a little back history on my Duster. It was purchased new on 3/11/70 from Graces' Auto Service in Kittery Maine. It was B3 blue with a 318/904 combo, White bucket seats and a good list of options. The final price of the car new was 3035.70. As stated in my first post I bought the car in 1998 from the original family. I lived next door to the owners since 1979 and new the car most of my life. When I got the car it was pretty much all stock with around 70,000 miles on it, over the years I added Centerline wheels, lift off six pack hood, 8.75 sure grip with super stock springs. and changed out the 318 for a 340. Over the years I have been buying some parts a little at a time and storing them until I could start a rebuild. I have a 727 w/reverse manual valve body, the B/M pro stick to go with it, fiberglass fenders, console and several smaller items. Now the disassembly has started and I am figuring out what I need and the direction I will go with the build.

Started the disassembly so I thought I would post some pics of it as we go.
