I hate to do this but I am putting up my '70 Duster for sale. I will be changing jobs soon and need a more economical car to drive the hour to work and back. Plus, I just don't have the cash at this time to take care of this car the way I would like.
I will try to describe it as accurately as possible, warts and all. I am the second owner and have all the receipts from the original owner. Car sat for 8 years before I bought it. Like any car that sits that long, things go bad. I cleaned the fuel tank and installed a new sender/pickup. Don't think I got it grounded good as the fuel gauge is not working now. Rebuilt the carb, and it runs good, but the top is warped and should be replaced. I fixed the horn relay and heater switch. Flushed and bled the brake system. New thermostat and housing. Currently installing a new WP to finish up the cooling system. Radiator is in great shape. Has brand new tires with original hub caps. Grill is perfect shape with no cracks or missing pieces. All lenses are good. Rear springs are sagging a bit. Needs the speedometer repaired. 318 2bbl with auto. Column shift. Factory A/C. Factory disc brakes. Best of all, this car spent it's entire life here in Southern AZ so no rust through anywhere! If you have questions or need pics of anything just let me know. $5,500 obo. *** SOLD PENDING FUNDS ***
