Well with everyone focusing on ratrods and then gassers Im really hooked on 70s street machines and could be the next thing. I bought a really ratty 1966 dart with a bondo replica body to Start my next street machine creation. Wheel flares, big gaudy scoop. lace paint, panel paint and so on. Heres a pic of the car to start with. More to come Enjoy!:happy1:

Yesterday I blasted the new shocks, bigblock mounts, and the upper a arms for the disc brake conversion and painted them with VHT chassis black epoxy. Also a few before pics of the k frame and some other suspension peices.

Here is one of the 15x10 with 4.5 backspacing keystone classics with pro trac tires. Hard to tell but they are 32 inches tall and 15 inches wide. Hope to change these later to aluminum slots.

Thanks jo! Im going to biuld wheel flares for it too. The 13 inch slots are for sale if anyones interested.

Good fror you, I am also hooked on the 70's "Street" thing. That's what is up with the 1/4 window stickers and the Knock off Doug Thorley sidepipes. THe last addition will be some Cragar knock off wheels from the same time period.
I also want to do some "real fire" flames but that will have to wait till my income tax check gets here. LOL

dragdak,
Where is this local salvage yard? Always on the lookout for other potential sources. What's goin' on with the Colt? Thanks. L8r

The last storm trashed my house and my deadbeat american family insurance wouldnt pay for any repairs. So Had to sell the colt. Great guy from Jordan bought it. He has a ton of nice mopars even a hemi drag car one.

Hey Hector! I wanted to buy the car you bought. The old White Bear Lake Dodge test car. I love that thing!

I wanted this car to but he never got back to me.

I am REALLY getting to the POINT where I hate INSURANCE companies as much as Politicians and Bankers....nothing more than LEGAL theft

Sorry just HAD to say that

Talk about variety!I am waiting on this thread,I did a 70El Camino a while back on this concept, it was an eyecatcher.

Goose Lake Auto in Waconia. Awsome mopar guy I have known for years. I also know of a secret stash of cars that are mostly unmolested a bodies from 64-74. Old yard and the guy is hard to get to know but once he trusts you he is awsome too.

Groovy Man! :glasses7:

Im doing the f body disc brake swap in detail. The set up I picked up for 50 bucks is from a 1975 volare wagon. Still need the 73 and up arms but worth the swap. I have done many of these and work great. Also need the camber correction kit from moog k7103. 80 bucks from o reileys.

It was for sale on st. cloud craigslist. It was in cambridge I think. I might be able to put you in touch with a guy who knows more about your car. Let me make some calls.
