Working on my Dart, rebuilt transmission with Red Eagles, Kolens, 4500 convertor, bolt in sprag. While I was in there, changed the headers from the schumachers to 2" TTI's.

Here is video:

Ink - They are tight. I cut a hole for the #6 spark plug and to get access to the bolt. Definitely had to remove the torsion bars. Luckily I had the transmission out when I did this, so I just lifted the motor out, three or four times to "slide" them in. When the starter goes out, it is not going to be fun to replace. Keep in mind, I am not as bright as many of you on here, so I probably did a little extra work not needing to be done.

Thank you for asking

Rocco - no, I did look at them, quickly and not with a lot of detail. The t-bars definitely need to come out. Starter is tight. I have a cable shifter, so adjusting was tight. I used a lift, so that helped A LOT. You will need another person. Hole in pax side fender helped. Good luck

So the starter need to be instaled, then put headers on?

Also, I planed to pull t-bars, pull steering column. I have the offset master. Was going to punch holes for plug access.

I have a factory floor shifter and I guess there is something I have to trim for that.

Did you have to unbolt engine?

Rocco - Yes, I had to unbolt and lift out. As for the starter, please keep in mind my transmission was out, so your may be a bit different. I have a B&M pro-stick with a front loading cable, so I ran a 6' cable through a hole in the firewall - PITA. I just seen a guy with a hole in the tunnel about 6" to 8" back from the gas pedal with same shifter. His setup was much nicer, I may try this.

My steering column was ok and I have a MP small master, didn't remove either of those
