71 Dodge Demon Project

Does anyone know what the biggest rear-end tire combination for a dodge 71 Demon are.

I'm looking to get a 8 3/4 rear end. A Dana 60 as I understand doesn't fit an A Body.

It will probably have a small block blueprint engine and a manual transmission (possibly a Keisler 5 speed).

I'm running 255x60-15's on the back of my Demon and with the springs in the stock location I have 3/4" clearance between the inner side wall and springs and 1/2" between outer wall and fender lip. So you can go from there.

I've got 295-50s on my Duster with a little grinding on the inside of the quarter panel lip and SS springs.

Best bet is to measure once i'ts ready and the 8 3/4 rear end is in.

i have a b-body dana 60 and 31x10.5 slicks under my demon.

I have a Dana 60 under my 'Cuda. I've been told that a Dana 60 would have to be shortened and new axles put in.

It'd be great if I could put a Dana 60 without messing with the car.
