71 duster power steering play

is there a way to adjusting a sloopy power steering box?? the sloop seems to be about 2 inches both ways off center. Feels like I'm driving with flat tires down the road:s

There's a screw and locknut on the top of the steeing box that adjusts the play in the steering if it's all the way in you need a new steering box.
