Hello ..new to the forum and we're working on a 72 Duster.

The owner provided us with a brand new steering wheel which looks like the "tuff wheel" with the spokes.

We know that Grant makes a wheel like this so we ordered the adaptor hub for it. As you can see the adaptor hub from Grant is far from correct with the spacing of the attaching bolt holes much closer together than the holes in the adaptor hub.

There isn't a number visible on this wheel so I'm hoping that a forum member will recognize this wheel and point us in the right direction to purchase the correct hub.

Thanks in advance.....John

welcome aboard junior

that adapter looks good...but I don't think that wheel looks familiar
looks like your missing a part maybe?

You need an original a body steering wheel can. Bolts on top of large bolt on top and goes to the three 1/4 stud holes in the steering wheel.

Hello CudaJunction:

Steering wheel can? Large bolt on toP?

Not picturing it... do you have a pic of it?

Thanks...John

Just google a body steering wheel adapter. We have a few if needed. A B body truck all used them truck has no main spline.

Use the first one. Second one could work but is thicker.

B body but same.

Thanks PhilCollins:

The second one would look better on the column I think as it is already black. Then again if I had an original I could paint it semigloss black to match.

Sounds good. I have some feelers out now for one.

Other than one is 'ribbed' and the other is smooth..right?

Thanks again...John
