72 plymouth duster park lamp lenses

After restoring my 1972 Duster Grill I was reinstalling turn signal lenses and noticed that the lenses are slanted to one side.... I was wondering if the slant go towards the inside of the grill or the outside of the grill.....

Both look ok either way but you know Mopar guys will have the correct way, or say that's not the correct way... Just saying
