Great driving and handling classic Mopar with updates to drive smooth and reliably. I have owned this car since 2016 but don’t drive it enough anymore, so its time for someone else to enjoy it. Turn-key car ready to go for next owner.

This is a capable, smooth driving street car that can be reliably taken to the strip or auto xed. Runs consistent traction limited 8.4s - 8.5s in the 1/8th, could easily run high 12s in the quarter if it could hook up.

Some rust in trunk gives an excuse to mini tub, and some bubbling where vinyl top seam used to be, but body and frame otherwise rust free from what I can see. Always a California car originally owned by an old man in Santa Barbara, previously a 318.

Engine:
99 Durango 360 Magnum, rebuilt in 2017, painted hemi orange
Air Conditioning, newer sanden compressor, works very well
Hughes cam 222/226 110 LSA SER2226ALN-10
Quick Fuel SS-750 CFM Carb, Mechanical secondaries, Electric choke
Edelbrock Airgap intake
Mopar Magnum Valve covers
Eq Magnum heads ported / built by IMM engines
Heads shaved .18 / 3ccs for raised compression
Engine Pro rockers, Comp cams guide plates
Summit 2.5” exhaust, H pipe, Flowmaster 40 series mufflers

Always used Mobil 1 15-50 oil and Wix filters

Transmission / Drivetrain
Original a904, rebuilt by previous owner
Dynamic converter, custom built for this car, approximately 4200 stall
Shift kit
Deep sump pan with temperature sensor
Mancini Racing drive shaft loop
Rebuilt “489” 8 ¾ by local shop, 3.55 gears, Detroit Trutrac Limited slip
B&M Quicksilver floor shifter
B&M Magnum Flex plate

Suspension / Chassis / Tires
Upgraded to 5x4.5 bolt pattern
78+ Cordoba front “big brake” kit from Dr Diff
Drilled / slotted rotors
Bilstein shocks / struts all around
Firm Feel tubular upper control arms
QA1 Adjustable strut rods
Rebuilt all tie rods / ball joints / Idler arm etc

Interior:
In overall great shape
Full set of removable gauges
E46 Power bucket seats (have original bench)
Grant wheel (have original)
3M colorstable window tint

Cons:
Some rust in trunk, perfect reason to mini tub
Some rust starting to show under paint where the vinyl top was pulled.
Aside from those body/ frame appears mostly rust free

Sorry to see it sell. Been one of my favorite builds to follow.

Yeah I’m pretty gutted to sell it tbh, but the honest truth is that I haven’t driven it much at all since the lockdown hit a couple years ago.

I stopped commuting (WFH) and the drag strip was closed for a period of time. Then I got a couple other projects going and it’s just been chilling in the garage. So hopefully the new owner will get more use out of it, and he’s local so I will still see it around.

I still have a spot in my heart for A bodies forever… so I’m not ruling another one out in the future.
