727 Parking Lever

I pushed parking lever rod and it went in far to easy. Is there any way this can be installed incorrectly?. All bolt holes line up in VB. I get worried when its that easy

If you're using a 904 rod then it's too short and you won't have park. If park locks the output shaft then it's good.

Sometimes the parking lever can be a PITA to get in and sometimes it drops right in. Maybe you got lucky. If it locks the driveshaft in park your ok

Thanks guys locks up in park. Usually crap like that fights me all the way but not this time. Was my lucky day

It's actually easy to install if the notch lines up...
I just turn the shaft a little until it slips right in....you just got lucky the first time.
