I'm in the process of a complete restoration of a 69 Dart Swinger. K-frame , motor and transmission have been reinstalled. When installing torque shaft linkage rod to the transmission and the bracket that gets bolted to frame rail, the torque shaft is not straight across. It runs downhill from trans to bracket on frame rail. There is something obviously wrong as the torque shaft goes into the nylon bushings at a substantial angle and its impossible to get the washer and clip on the end of the shaft where it exits the frame rail bracket. Any thoughts? Does anyone have any pics of the torque shaft brackets, at the transmission and also at the frame rail bracket.
Thanks for your time.
