I am new to this site, and new to Mopars in general (always been a Chevrolet guy). But i picked up a project in the works, It's a 1974 Dart Sport, with a 1971 Demon front clip (and some other parts:p)

I am in the process of building a 360 Magnum engine for it, attached to a TKO 5 speed manual Tranny with a Keisler Kit. It has a 8.75 Rear, Mini tubs, 430 spool, narrowed rear end, leaf springs moved in 3 inches each side, super stock leaf springs, Fuel cell, Etc.

I am very excited to be building this with my father, and can't wait to see what it will bring. Thanks for the add. and i look forward to learning a lot from everyone on this page. Thanks!

welcome aboard
looks like a great start

just curious, has the tail light panel been changed over to a demon aswell ?

Welcome to FABO, looks like a cool project.

Is something welded to the bottom of the 8 3/4, just looks weird.

I actually just picked up a running/driving 1974 Gold Duster for parts, any idea if anything wont swap over? After checking the vin decoder, both were 1974 2 dr sport hardtops, both came with 318's... Thanks in advance

your front clip is a 72, not a 71........ car looks good though!

Thanks for the info, It is a 1972, Appreciate the responses! Can't wait to learn a bunch during this build!!

Looks like the mufflers in front of the rear end and the tails turned out in front of the rear tires.

BTW.
Like it a lot! :burnout:
And Welcome!

I hope so! It doesn't have any exhaust on it right now, But my headers are supposed to be here today! Along with a Carburetor and my parts car in the morning!

My dad and I spent all day working on getting the headers installed, After pulling the motor 4 times, and some minor fabricating, the headers are tight, BUT THEY FIT!!!!! One small step! But a great feeling! Pictures included below! (Headers are summit racing ceramic coated 9140 i believe)
I also included a picture of the parts car we now have(1974 Plymouth Gold Duster), and also, the one photo of the headers not on the car, is where we had to "modify" to make them fit.
