Hey guys my dart came with a 741 case 8 3/4 rear end i have a space 742 case how can i upgrade my small pinion 741 to a 742?

Pull the axles and swap the center sections, then put the axles back in!!

LMAO! I think he wants to know how to put innards from the 741 into the 742. I believe the only thing you can swap over is the carrier. If it's a one legger the cost of the swap is not worth it. If its a sure grip then go for it.
There's nothing wrong with the 741, it is perfectly capable of handling most any street driven car, and no, not much will swap over from one case to the other except the SG unit!!

the sure grip will work in any case, be it cone or clutch. but you need the ring and pinion for the specific case so your 741 R&P will not work in the 742

yeah i was talking about the innards of the case so R &P will need to be replaced, would the 741 be able to handle a mild 440? 525-580hp 540-600 torque?
