8 3/4 question help please

Does anyone know what year and what cars had the breather vent closer the the center section on the 8 3/4 rear ends? I know its later. The earlier ones had the breather down the axle tube a bit. Just trying find what year and cars have the later a-body model 8.75. Thanks:binky:

You have it backwards, later 8 3/4 moved it down the axle tube.

You have it reversed if I'm reading your post correctly. 69 and earlier is on the center/left, 70 and later is on the axle tube.

70 and later would be the one you want. There were issues with the vent leaking on the 69 and earlier, that's why Ma Mopar moved it if I'm not mistaken.
