I have 2, 8 3/4 489 center sections.
The 3.23 is a sure grip unit and small U Joint.
The 2.76 is a open unit and small U joint also.
These came with my current car as extra parts.
The 3.23 was in the car before I took ownership of it.
According to previous owner all was good with it before he swapped them out for a 4.10 unit.
So to be honest and up front I'm not entirely sure of the operating condition of both of them.
The 3.23 is a very clean looking piece spins freely nothing looks out of place.
The 2.76 looks VERY original and could use a good cleaning.
I REALLY PREFER LOCAL PICKUP
I would be willing to meet up within reason to help with tolls, ETC.
