8.75 axel bearing ?

I have a 8.75 10''x1.75 rear was told I needed to but green bearings, witch I have done in the past, on other axles... my question is after looking at this rear I see no adjuster for tapered bearings..does this need need green bearings. the pics of both sides..i have not seen tapered bearings with no adjustment....View attachment PIC00049.jpg

No your right. Those axle bearings require the right side to have an adjuster.

No someone put two axles in your housing without a adjuster. I'm surprised it lasted any time at all.

crazy question,why wouldn't it work,any way they could have gotten the proper end play somehow...

It'd be a one in a million chance it'd work. The end play is pretty critical

looks like they used 2 left axles, maybe they did not want the left hand thread wheel studs that came on some cars on the passenger side. there are 2 other choices than green bearings, replace 1 bearing with an adjustable unit or with careful measuring the thrust block can be widened to give the .005"-.015" play we need-I have done it
