When changing a yoke on a 489 8 and 3/4 center section with a crush sleeve eliminator is the pinion gear adjustment Disturbed?
8 and 3/4 yoke change

It shouldn't be disturbed with the eliminator.
here is what to look for, They look totally different then the 7 1/4 style.
