904 questions......need help

I just finished installing my 904 in a 73 dart swinger 318.I forgot acouple things and want to see how critical they are.

#1 I forgot to install the dipstick tube.Dont currently have one,was thinking on getting a flexible one or is that a bad idea and should get a factory one.

#2 I forgot the two spacers on the bolt holes for the trans mount.I do have those,found them afterwards.

Just wondering how and if I could install the factory dipstick tube after its in the car,and if those spacers have to be there and their purpose.

you can install the dipstick tube...just remove the one bolt that goes thru the bracket ....tranny to engine bolt on passenger side..probably the easiest of the trans-engines bolts to get at.

spacers?...I think they are some kind of damper...
