Hi,

leaking trans fluid from speedometer cable is there any type o-ring or gasket i need to get to fix leak. any ideas will surely help. thanks.

There is 2 seals or o-rings involved. One on the actual piece the speedo cable screws onto, where it fits in the tailshaft housing, and once you take that piece out, there is also a seal on the actual shaft that the speedo inner cable goes into.

If it looks like it's coming from the smaller inside seal and isn't leaking bad don't worry about it cause their nearly impossible to get to seal up. I used to use a seal from a Chevy turbo 350 in them and it sealed a lot better but they've changed the design and the new ones won't work so all were stuck with is the crappy stock seal.
