A Body Brakes

I have a chance to get a set of front brakes,spindle and all for my 70 Dart.I have 9 inch brakes on it now.The parts are from a 70 also.Will this work and can I get the bigger bolt pattern discs on the new spindles?

The disks you are looking at are the Kelsey Hayes disk brakes. They are small bolt pattern and parts are not easy to get and are more expensive. You want the disks off a 73+ A-body for the big bolt pattern and parts availability at the corner parts store.

SO don't waste my money right? Look for '73 and up stuff.How about R Body spindles?

Well if you are going to the larger 4.5 rim and want less costly rotors etc. yes got to the 73 up as mentioned.

But the others work just fine!

The rotors are a few $$ more and the 4 piston calipars work just fine.

And you can kept the same front rims you have now.

But I have 4 1/2 on the back.I also have R Body spindles.How well will that work?

i just ordered the kit from year one for the 65-72 a body, and the spindles as well from stephens perf. wonder if im makin a mistake...

Has anyone used a wilwood kit?It looks real good to me.
